Looking for 1st gen Crossram Info.......
 

Just wondering , roughly, how many original GM Crossrams were produced ?
I just picked one up....

Wouldn't be one of these would it? Out of Hemmings

The one above must be a 1967 casting.....yes mine is the same but with casting numbers....

I was told in the early eighties that there were about 500 intakes produced during '67 thru '69 and 100 fiberglass hoods produced in '69.

I looked at one advertised in Hemmings , the particular setup I saw the ad stated it was a 68 manifold... The pic of the carb the 4295 was engraved not stamped.... Was this normal on the 68’s ?

I think the first crossrams were cast toward the end of 67.....so that would be in the 68 model year......

The John R. Hooper book says 500 to 600 were produced...but the book is from 1990....
Just wanted to see if there was any updated info on these....as far as the numbers produced....

There should be dates cast into the aluminum on the underside.
