'66 L79 Chevy II, Chateau Slate on Black
I love the a '66 Chevy II in this color...and the L79 is as good as it gets. I'm curious why the seller doesn't post a pic of the claimed numbers-matching block. And what do you guys think of the docs?

Ummmm just one look at the seller/dealer and the cloud over my head was Forrest Gump losing the leg braces.......

66 Nova never had a wood/plastic wheel. 67 was the first year for Nova.
No resonators either...should the e-brake cables go under or over the leaf springs? How are they on a first gen Camaro? Dave 67 Nova Boy |
is not even a 66 horn cap, also e brake handle is wrong,,,missing front of fender lower moldings, meaning either holes were filled or fenders replaced among many other things that should be correct for 89k

Subject VIN 118376N158698 The 89 thou # is in a few online ads including this one on Hemmings... https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds...a/2126764.html Best always consider Matching #'s as exactly that also having nothing to do w/ original engines unless specified. Whether original L79 & paperwork or not, w/o more offered to suggest otherwise, most likely a stamper engine/trans? Tough color but tone changes indicate individual panel paintwork w/ contrast too apparent for the # they're asking? :beers: ~ Pete . |
