69 HURST Camaro ?????

Gary Higgenbotham of Alpharetta,GA
owns a Black One of One 69 Camaro
that has HURST Fender Emblems,
Z28 stripes and Hurst Embroidery of
no stock seats.............

Please tell me this is NOT Original
and HURST had nothing to do with this
69 Camaro..............

AFAIK, this is the only Camaro that had some affiliation with Hurst: 1970 Hurst Sunshine Camaro RS Z28 with powered sunroof. 1 of 3 built and the only one to survive.

If my memory serves me well one of the cars was at the Camaro Nationals in 1990....I also believe the sunroof is manual slider that folds like a accordion.

I'm familiar with the 70 HURST Camaro..........seeking any knowledge about a 1969
HURST Camaro authorized or modified by Hurst or For Hurst ?????

That is the Sunshine Hurst with the Sun Roof, not the aforementioned 69 Hurst Camaro.

The front and rear spoilers also appear to be custom? My '70 RS had the shorty spoiler.

Hurst had a lot of promotional vehicles
cars, trucks, trailers, bicycles, mini bikes, golf carts , etc

this is the only 1st gen Camaro I can find

Yes, Hurst did a lot of one off cars. Many we may never even heard rumours of. Also, I recall when T-tops and holes in the roofs just started to appear, there was a company in the South Bend/Elkhart area that did a lot of engineering work before converting them. Can't recall the name of the company though. May have been an early van conversion company. Not sure.
