'69 4-cyl Nova Project, Factory 2-Tone Paint, Clean CA Car

Definitely a little on the rough side, but this car has the rarely seen Glacier Blue with white painted top color combo, and looks to have been well preserved in CA and still wears its original black plate on the front bumper.

No idea where the seller has the reserve, but I'd guess somewhere around $7-8k would be fair.

Oh man. I have the makings of a 600 HP small block 427 and a TKO 600 with less than 4,000 miles on them. Even have the bell housing, clutch, flywheel and cross member. All I would need is exhaust, clutch linkage and have this driveshaft shortened. I even have access to a later model Nova 8.5 10 bolt and multi leaf springs.

I need another project like I need cancer. But still, if I don't find a car to put this engine and trans in, I need to sell them (or put them in my 69 Z and risk twisting the body).
Hmm.... 9 hour drive each way.

Auction says rust free except for LF fender. What about these black spots on the Left quarter? Almost looks like rust through.

Several years ago a good friend had one of these 4-cylinder ‘69 Novas that happened to also be a factory heater delete car!

Had a friend who had one of these new, with the 'Torque-Drive' (or something like that) transmission. He didn't have it for long.

$8800 with five days to go. Reserve not met. I would not go over $10k.

I think $8800 is already too much for this one, but it is pretty downright cool, and you wouldn't have to do any panel replacement....

This car is 15 minutes from me, I could put eyes on it if a serious interest.

IIRC Torque Drive was the name for the two-speed Powerglide with minimized parts, shifting was done manually with the column lever. I worked on a couple of them in the dealership in the early seventies. - Bill W
