Is a run of mill Camaro sold through Yenko more significant?

What are your opinions on this?

A 1981 Camaro near my house is for sale. Was sold through Yenko. See buildsheet. Most are saying it means nothing if sold through Yenko unless a converted or Supercar. I highly disagree. I believe it being a Camaro and sold through Yenko means something.

In my opinion, an '81 Z/28 sold at Yenko is worth the same as an '81 Z/28 sold at Kenny Ross.

I have two 81 Z28's in that color and in my opinion the car listed isn't worth any more than any other 81 Z28 project. If it was a nice driver or a survivor it might be worth a bit more but in that condition and no title I agree with Unreal. If it was a 67-69 Camaro it would probably be a different story?

The car has NO TITLE and NO TITLE can be got for the car! Why Bother..

How much extra would depend on each car's unique circumstances but Yes, definitely worth more as two cars side by side/same everything including price, most here would choose the Yenko delivered car over most any other dealer.:hmmm:
:dunno:

There was a discussion about this in 2015 on CRG. Can't believe I remembered. Lot's of opinions, including mine. I still stand by what I said that day. It really means nothing. William said,"The NCRS letter shows the car was shipped to Yenko Chevrolet. Here's an extra $5". Will you ever see two exact cars side by side? .. Danny

In that condition, William may be off. Probably $2.50.

1981 is about the last year for Yenko Chevrolet , then became Sun Chevrolet

A car from Yenko will have more value to me but maybe not to others

We know the history of a car can add value such as a movie car or celebrity owned car.

How much added value is depending on the market

yep,Joe is right.
had my '68 Chevelle ragtop at that dealership for a car show not long before it changed hands..they had us backed into the service bays inside.
in '81 it was no longer the original building where the magic happened,it was a few miles away and played no part.
just another dealer by then although they had developed a kit for putting a turbo on the new Z 28 cars.
I would say who sold the car makes no real difference unless the car has the turbo kit..
