1966 Corvette convertible

I am ready for something else so my 1966 convertible is for sale. This is DRIVER quality car. Has a zz502 and muncie 4 speed (obviously not original). Rear axle believed to be 3:36 with posi. The car was originally Nassau blue but is now a darker blue (I have a paint sample with formula). The paint is maybe 6 -7 on a 10 scale. Interior is bright blue and in pretty good condition. Runs and drives good. I swapped in a Custom Autosound radio and added speakers to the dash and rear but it has a lot of static when the engine is running. I installed led front park lights and they work with the headlights. Led rear lights (removed the backup lights). The headlight buckets are DSE converted. Engine has FAST EFI (still have the newly restored Holley) and an EFI fuel tank. Soft top (white) is only a couple years old. Hardtop is like brand new (fully restored) in 2019. Added power steering. Asking $50k. Call 706-563-0569.

----Wow! Pretty 66, and certainly a fair price for all the smiles it will get the new owner. Great driver for sure. You would probably have to cover that HEI distributer somehow to take the static away. Maybe go to a pertronix dizzy and then factory shielding. Something fairly easily done by the the new owner if he cares about hearing anything other than the sidepipes!...Bill S

I have thought about that with the distributor but haven't pursued it. Thought it could also be EFI box. I will let the next owner decide that. I am in the process of putting the quieter side pipes on it this week.

It is a fun car.

By the way, the Hurst T handle does not go with the car. Had it for a long time on many cars.

Thanks. I am ready for something else. I hate that I missed out on the 1974 SD455 TA a few months ago.

There's an original owner 74 SD455 TA on BAT right now.

I sure wish I would have gotten off my lazy butt and went and looked at this car.

Beautiful car and probably the buy of 2021.
