Original 69 chevelle brake booster ????

I came across what the gentleman says is an original 69 chevelle brake booster. It has the upside down delco moraine stamp under the vacuum port and on one of the tabs it’s stamped 939 right on the edge. I’m guessing it should have been 9391 but ran out of metal since they started off center. So I guess I’m looking for some of your guys thoughts on if it’s original. Thanks

Nice score. Yep, I would say....good chance that is a 9391.
Since the Delco Moraine stamp is very faint....I would only send this booster to Mike Gibbons for restoration....Mike knows what and how to deal with weak booster stamps such as this one. https://www.brakeboosters.com/ Dan |
