Loaded '65 Malibu SS Convertible, Docs
Neat car - even has the rarely seen AM/FM radio, pretty rare in '65.

It is a nicely optioned car but as dented, bruised and rusty as it is, I'm seriously doubting the 38,000 original miles.

His garage looks interesting ...

I did a double take of that steering shaft.
|
Sure looks like a steering shaft, but in another picture it looks like it's a gigantic horn of some sort. I think the mileage is believable, but it appears to have suffered from less than optimal storage conditions.

I believe that is the "long range horn". Looks like something out of a 30's car. |
That is, in fact, the 100% correct 1965 Tri-volume horn. Very rare item. The rear antenna with the AM/FM radio is incorrect. Probably why it is a gypsy antenna. AM/FM was only available with a RF antenna which had a 31" spring-steel mast.

I'm digging that orange '69 Camaro (COPO type) front end falling off the wall in the mirror, at least I thought is was a mirror, but now, I think it's another room... a little bit of everything for everyone in that place...

No reserve so looks like she'll sell for close to $30K.Buyer will be under water a bunch of he or she takes the seller's advice and does a full restoration!

Exactly, lots of options but end result drivetrain/colors not enough for resto $ necessary. Love the '69 nose art w/ angle cut, what's the black one?:hmmm: :beers: ~ Pete . |
