1st RAII GTO
Man, is this ever in sad shape, but I suppose anything is restorable with enough wherewithal.

Well, that's pretty interesting....I know of a Nightshade Green RAII car within 50 miles of where this rusted hulk is located today. I went to look at it for the motor that was in it at the time (YS 350HP) for my convertible. Guy had sourced the correct engine and was selling the YS motor. Body was restored probably 10-15 years prior to me looking at it.

Does seem rather "coincidental" that the tags are missing from this hulk too, eh ? Should still be a partial vin stamp on the frame ? |
you would never find a vin stamp on the frame under this one... it would be rusted beyond detection.
|
Not that it would be worth the trouble, but you might be surprised at what forensics can pull out of metal from a stamp, even after it has been ground off...
