Interesting '66 Impala SS427/4-sp Convertible, $9000
Looks like something worth pursuing. Would be extremely cool if it were an L72 car...maybe some previous owner has paperwork, or the block is lurking out there somewhere. Can't quite tell from the pics what the tach redline is.

Looks to me like the green goes all the way to 5500....then wasn't there normally a yellow area before it turned to red???

Man, that picture of the dash makes it hard to tell. There should be a little bit of yellow like Bill said. It looks like maybe the yellow starts just before the 5500 like Ed says. If the exhaust manifolds are an indicator, it's a L36 390hp 427 so it would be 5500.
