Butchery at work
A few pics of what they do in the front. They have 3 frame racks and do a LOT of trucks with full frames. Once in a while, they take in a "builder" and perform major surgery to resurrect it for the owner to sell.

This car was clobbered HARD in the back and this is the quickest, easiest method of repair. All the pillars will get internal sleeves for strength. https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...3Bfit%3Dbounds |
I know a guy that only fixed salvaged cars that way... Almost he would always cut in the middle of a doorway. And I wager to guess that is why rebuilders have branded titles.

Anthony, the complete back half was removed and a donor is getting welded on.
This is my HHR that I bought from copart 10 years ago. After it was repaired, I drove that little car for 80k miles over 7 years. Never a squeak, creak, rattle or wind whistle. It was a great, solid vehicle. https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...3Bfit%3Dbounds https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...3Bfit%3Dbounds https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...3Bfit%3Dbounds https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...3Bfit%3Dbounds https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...3Bfit%3Dbounds https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...3Bfit%3Dbounds |
