TIGER II ‘65 Chevelle match racer found, restored
This fellow, aka HOT ROD HOARDER, makes great videos and is one of the best storytelling historians of this era I’ve come across. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZi35PHgM2s

Interesting that it seems to have always had a '64 front clip. Did they start with a crashed '65 and put the '64 clip on to race ?
|
It’s in the video-No ‘65 race fiberglass front ends available when initially built. Amazingly it never crashed enough to warrant replacement later.

Video guy also mentions Dick Harrell drove the car a few times also built the 427 for it. Note B-Pillar is missing from car today, when did it disappear and why?:hmmm: :beers: ~ Pete . |
As stated in the video, B pillars were cut out when the new purpose built chassis was put in and the body truly became just a covering.
