The Apollo 11 moon landing happened 53 years ago today...hard to believe a half a century has passed since Neil Armstrong first stepped on the moon.

It was an event that brought the World together.We need more of that.One of the few times in the past that I remember where I was and who I was with to watch it.

And my parents got our first color tv to celebrate the landing!:grin:

I remember watching it live on TV with my dad....who's been dead for almost 52 years now :(

I remember...vaguely...because I was 2. Lol

Remember very well watching with my family. 2 months shy of 10 years old. That was awesome.

I turned 12 that day and vividly remember my family watching the TV.

It was magical !! In Black and White no less !!
