Alleged '68 435hp Corvette, "Possible Baldwin" car
I don't see anything suggesting this car was sold from Baldwin, or modified there, except for the Baldwin-esque paint scheme. Would definitely be worth getting the NCRS docs, if you could piece together the original VIN (this car has a State of Missouri assigned VIN that, unfortunately, isn't a duplicate of its original VIN).

here's my brothers real 1968 Baldwin Motion 68 corvette from 1976.take note of the 1967 side exhaust. Bought it from a fellow by the name of Dana Saxton who live on long island NY. We done the custom paint, but this is a real Motion. Motion took the trips off the 435 and added a Offenhauser side mounted 800 dual feed Holley with the frog eyed air clearer. Car had 411 gears. One of the fastest street cars I have ever been in.

Nearly identical to my 69, here's a picture from 1976. Mine wasn't a Motion car.
