1968 Super Bee - The Sensible Supercar
4 Attachment(s)
The 68 Super Bee was a late introduction but was value and performance packed. Although small in cubes it didn't lack in performance since it share many 440 HP parts. Love the look of this car, stripes, wheels & chrome appointments...

Thanks for posting! I rescued my 69 Super Bee earlier this year from where it had sat for approximately 40 years. It is a Q5 Turquoise, white stripe, 383 4 speed car, black interior and optioned with a 3.23 sure grip. It will be quite a while before it is remotely ready to drive but the article is inspiration to work on it! I even found a broadcast sheet behind the seat that was still mostly intact. I've collected some parts already.... I've got a 69 HP383 that needs rebuilt, 4 speed, and a 3.23 chunk for the 8 3/4" but it will need lots of sheet metal love before any of the drivetrain is focused on! Nobody makes reproduction fenders for these cars and the pickings for decent used ones are very slim!
