Assembly line Cowl Induction Air Cleaner assembly set with Original Lid, Rubber Seal, "W" Stamped Flange, A212CW Air Filter, Base with Notch on the Snorkel with Fire Arrestor, Valve Cover Elbow with GM Hose and Original Carb Spacer. Just a tiny dent at the end of the snorkel that can be easily repaired. Excellent over all shape perfect for a "SURVIVOR" or restore to perfection. Nothing better then a true Original GM part for that special SS.

That's not a 1970 Chevelle assembly line air cleaner housing.It's the later over the counter service replacement.

The lower air tube having a sharp bend rather than the a smmoth curve is a giveaway that says it's an OTC housing.

I have a few of these bases in stock. Never knew the difference for the tube, will gladly offer and exchange this one with a correct base for the same price. I also see some snorkels have a single notch or a double notch on them.

Just to confirm, does the Assembly line Base have this style Tube ?
I also noticed we have a base with NO bottom center groove and a flange that is more oval without a notch showing ?
