Make a killer vintage car hauler
Perfect start to make a killer vintage car hauler. Look at the cab corners. When was the last time you saw a vintage truck (other than my Studebaker) with no rust in the cab corners.

I remember driving to Jackson Hole and back to OK in January 1981. Bought a set of tire chains at Western Auto. Lucked out and never put them on. Returned them to the store still in the box when I got home. Agree; I wouldn't attempt to drive it home on those tires. My Studebaker fits on my 18 foot car hauler just fine, but it is only 131 wheelbase. I am certain this C50 is longer. |
I have a set of lights and harness that I clamped on the back of the flat bed to be, mostly, legal. The sellers were trying to talk me into buying chains, but the temp was coming up and the roads were seeing some blacktop by the time I left, so I declined. Going back up Wolf Creek Pass, I was regretting that decision... :eek2:

I sent a message to the seller asking for a pic of the tag on the glove box door and the weight tag on the pillar. Now there is a notice on the listing that he is away until the 12th...sigh... might be a good thing and I'll forget about this.
But, most likely not...:smile: 238 miles and 4 hours from home. For a lifelong trucker, that's just getting the seat warmed up...:biggthumpup: |
