'67 Corvette Coupe, #s 350hp 327 and Factory Air
Sharp looking car - seller claims it's 1 of 444 ordered with the L-79 engine and AC.

This seller has sold decent drivers in the past.
L79 with C60 is not often found. Would love to see the chassis on this one. |
444 is correct, according to Noland Adams for L-79 and C60.
Seller mentions the car was flared at one point in time, and I assume the repairs are evident or he wouldn't disclose it. That is a big demerit. Those tags scare me. Looks like they may have been off the car. AO Smith tags always confuse me. If I am reading that right, it's AO Smith coupe body #623, but chassis #10,778. Maybe that's right for an AO Smith car, but needs close research. Also, that blackout on the Z-bar is not right for an AO Smith body. It would be mostly Zinc Dichromate on the face of the bar with body color overspray to the outboard pass side. Somewhere in Canada there was a guy (named Blair, I think) who had a real 435 convert in white with saddle leather. This was about 10 years ago he sold it. It's a killer color scheme. I probably would have bought that one but the logistics of inspecting it and buying it out of Canada ran me off the deal. |
----One of my favorite combo's color wise. Literally around 50 years ago I had a 427/400 white w/ saddle interior AC coupe. Sold it fairly quickly to a buddy as it had been hit pretty hard in the front. Then,,,about 3 years ago at Bloomington Gold the car showed up very nicely restored. I couldn't believe it and neither could the current owner and his son.
----This 67 has some odd stuff going on. The AC stuff under the hood appears to be run incorrectly. Passenger headlight bucket seems mis-aligned. I like the car though at the right price and without the hood...Bill S |

Here is my 63 white / saddle leather. I love the color scheme.
13K original miles, but after 60 years the GM leather is basically petrified. This year it's time to put new Al Knoch seat covers on it to bring the seats up to the caliber of the rest of the original interior. |

There's a white/blue leather L79 on the way to Austin. California car when new with the smog pump still on.

They had to turn it sideways to load it.
