Original Black #s X77 Z/28, Super Nice
One of the better Zs I've seen lately - what a sweet car, with JL8 added, and the original black paint code is icing on the cake. Bidding is strong already - I expect this one to do well and I'm guessing the reserve is around $100k.

Almost a twin to mine X77 D80. Mine came with the ducted hood.
Mine is also no console, center fuel gauge. Radio and antennae were already missing on mine, so I don't know if it was AM or AM/FM. Have AM/FM now. |

I don't get adding the style trim to a black Z. Black with white stripes is plenty of bling.
Morons at RK think it was built first week of 68. Obviously a carry over car built Sept 1969. Not an assembly line oil pan. I bet Charley really likes that booster. Looks like someone removed the chambered exhaust and put the correct one (or at least close) back on. Not trying to nit pick; just my initial observations. I don't even mind if they get $225k for it. Just gives me a comp. I will let Lloyd go over the details. |
Is it Me or are the show tie rod sleeve hardware not tight (aka Inadequate thread protrusion) into the pinch portion of the self locking nuts?
That there is a Major safety item in my opinion |
I think that pic was taken during assembly, before they were tightened.
