What an Awesome car!
Love the Black on Red.

The engine = Beast.

Thanks for sharing.

Per the Hagerty auction website, the black car was originally white with a red vinyl roof. Don't think I ever knew that a red vinyl roof was a factory option on a 63 Ford :hmmm:

66cayne 11-21-2023 02:46 PM

so 'red trim' refers to a vinly top and not the interior?

Taken directly from the auction listing, decoding the factory Data Tag:

M - Corinthian White Exterior

95 - Red vinyl top with Red Trim Vinyl Interior

95 just relates to interior trim (all red). Painted top would have a second letter in the Body space, not sure what they used for the black or white vinyl tops-can’t find a good example.
