1112000 9H29 What is it worth

The distributor 1112000 (dated Aug 29 of 69) was used in 70 Camaro, Chevelle & Nova 396 (402) 375hp L78. Presently resides in one of my Z28's. No issues but will be installing the correct 1111480 shortly.

My question is what it is worth. Looks in good condition no gouges or oxidation.

Thanks!

1112000 Distributor...

That is a nice part especially if you have an early car. The application covered both the 350hp automatic cars and all the 375hp std. and auto models.

Considering the late start for the new 70 Camaro it would be a better choice for a Nova or Chevelle.

Of course these parts are always worth a little more to someone who needs the 'right date' for a car...but somewhere in $350 - $500 range depending on the condition should be about right.

Wasn't that distributor ALSO used in late 69 Camaros, built after Aug 1?

If so, the pool of buyers just got a little deeper, and if that is the case, then I think $500 is way low.

FWIW, I sold my April 1970 dated core here for $500 almost three years ago - you can search for the ad.

I thought about the late Camaros...but Colvin's book doesn't list them. Of course with all the Camaro experts here, that is better than a book any day. I did a quick check of flea-bay pricing...and the price mentioned seemed inline.

A later dated unit would have more limited applications...big block Camaro and Nova...so I could see a bigger price. If the late 69 Camaro big block cars [including COPO] used this number than a price adjustment is definitely in order.

I bow to the wiser ones :worship:

I don't believe any have been found in late 69 Camaros.
with L78 or L72/copos.

Well, shut my mouth.

That seems odd, seeing that some of the 402 CI engines made it into late Camaros; some even with the 3 character suffix. Same with rear axles: some got the C in front of the two two character suffix. Some of the "C"s were peened over on axles.
But, I am with Wilma. Will defer to the gurus.

A few years ago, this seller sure thought they were used on late 69 cars: https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1221356
