1969 Z/28 Rally Green black paint below the rocker molding
 
Can anyone out there tell me the criteria when the area below the rocker molding is painted black..I'm restoring a 1969 Z/28 which is Rally Green with whites stripes..Thanks Dave

Rally Green cars with style trim are painted black. Non style trim cars are body colour.

Style trim in 1969 was rain gutter chrome, wheel lip chrome, chrome louvers in front of rear wheels, chrome on headlight rings, vert chrome on tail lights....Joe
