This is a real 69 Yenko Chevelle engine that was in the previous owners possession for over 25 yrs. I was at Spring Carlisle in April 2024 when a gentleman from Trumbull, CT came up to me & told me he has a 1969 Camaro that he believes is a COPO but was not sure, he showed me pics of the car & he also showed me pics of this engine. After sending me more pics of the car when he got home, I made the trip to Trumbull to look at the car & he was not sure he wanted to sell it. After talking back & forth for a few weeks, he decided he would sell it to me along with the engine.

I was told that the engine had been rebuilt by Ray Mancini from Danbury, CT so I did a search & found Ray & was able to talk with him & verify that he did know the owner of the car & remembers rebuilding the engine. Ray moved from Danbury, CT to TN in 2008 where he now owns Extreme Motorsports & builds motorcycle drag bike engines, Ray is now 60 yrs old. I will provide Ray's contact info to the new owner to verify.

I have the NCRS report & the car is in the registry being sold new at W. R. Austin in Norwalk, CT. The car is Lemans Blue & is an automatic. I have head the rumors about the car, but no one has come forward to verify.

The engine is as you see it, intake to pan, it was rebuild before Ray left Danbury in 2008 & was told it has less than 500 miles on it.
