67 Camaro vert - Suspicious VIN tag ?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/26709036047...=10001&mkevt=1
Missing trim tag, and a VIN tag and rivets that look WAY fresher than the door jamb they are attached to. Any way to tell for sure if that is a repro tag? I notice it has the fat/wide, round O in CHEVROLET (rather than the narrower more oval shaped one). Which is correct for Norwood in 67? |

Subject VIN 124677N239367 Comparing w/ other Norwood Tags from CamaroWorld Examples as below, a few differences but most apparent off the hop is how VIN Stampings are all closer to bottom of Tags than Subject (w/ Red below) being much higher/larger space under stamping to Tag bottom.:hmmm: :beers: ~ Pete . |
Thanks for the comps! Lots of other differences too. The difference in font width in CHEVROLET is pretty obvious, the hook at the top of the 1 is different, as are the 6 and the 3.
Wonder what VIN is on the cowl, and wonder if the original tags from this car are out there floating around on another 67 Convertible .... |
I see it has a “Latin” transmission……..LOL

Subject VIN tag and rivets look brand-spankin'-new to me
