Lakewood red spray paint

I found an older post on this forum stating that the red used on Lakewood bellhousings was Pantone 485(c?)

Does anyone have a contact where I can order a spray paint can or two? I asked around here locally in NJ and no one knows of any paint stores that do this sort of thing. Figured someone here might work in paint or know someone who can mix up a small batch.

I've ordered custom rattle can colors (if you have the formula or color) from both my local Auto body shop paint jobber or O'Reilly's Auto Parts.

I used this to freshen the loop on my 'ol red Day2 car. I thought it matched up pretty well with the original paint on my Lakewood BH.

Pantone colors typically refer to ink used in printing...I guess it could transfer over to paint, but I have never seen it referenced like that before.

I would agree if you have the formula most of the better stores can have it mixed for spray can application.
