Found something interesting today - I thought I also had one of these in my stash, and while digging for something else, I found it.
But, mine is dated J69 - September 1969 but I know they were still building 1969 Corvettes then and that 1970 production began in January of 1970... And look at the 9s & 6s on my stampings compared to yours - the size, font and style are opposite! Even the 2s are different... very interesting. And even the wing tip is a totally different design as I see it... curious. Just trying to learn all the nuances with this stuff. GLWS & Cheers! |
