1969 Nova

I have a 69 Nova, Serial #113279W4B2727.
This car never had a heater or radio installed at the factory. Could anyone help
me determine some history on my Nova. It had 427 emblems on it, but no engine.

Here's something for the "what it's worth" department:

According to Jim Mattison (and a few other sources), U.S. cars were required by federal law to have a heater/defroster, where as Canadian cars WERE NOT. So, it sounds like you have a 6 cylinder Canadian Nova...I'm sure if I'm wrong, someone here will correct me!

BY US cars, does that include Hawaii ? I have seen Hawaii 69 Camaro's with no heater. If anyone wants to pay for their own Vacation they could probably find enough heater deletes to pay for the trip.

The W in the VIN idicates is was assembled at Willow Run, MI. I agree according the the 3rd digit in the VIN is was a 6-cyl equiped car.

It may well have been a fleet purhcase etc. It could have been sold to the Gov't or something like that. Several years back they closed an AFB near me and they had lots of weird vehicle's for sale at auction. There was a 20 yr old Blue Chev pickup that caught my eye with less the 30,000 miles and in mint condition with no options what so ever. Spent all its life in Guam or someplace like that on the runways servicing B52's. Why they brough it back here to sell was a puzzle. It was sold to a local goverment, they got most of the good stuff.

11327 indicates a inline six cylinder engine. 11427 would indicate a V8
Not much information can be determined by the VIN. Look for a broadcast sheet in the uhpolstery, that will tell you lots more.
