Yenko Chevelles. How many are left?
 

OK yet another post from this new guy that up until Sunday no one had ever seen before. My dream car is a 69 Yenko Chevelle. Not a COPO, a YENKO. They Made 99. How many do you guys know about? 20-30 of 99???? I will have one some day. Then can come hang with the big dogs. But until then will have to settle for my Clone, or at least collecting the junk to clone it. I was just curious of how many of em you guys had found or the 323?? COPO Chevelles for that matter.

No idea on how many are left, but if I had to guess, I would say a little over 1/2.

I know of one the 69 Yenko Chevelles in my area was buried in the ground. As the story goes the orig. owner could not afford the car after about the first year. So he took the motor out and dug a LARGE whole and buried. "MOF"

Mr Yenko please tell me that you are kidding. thats just WRONG! Did he ever dig it back up? would be interesting to see what is left of it.

i've heard 37 are left, lucky to have one 0f the 37!
