ZL-1 fuelline

The Yenko-block ZL-1 engine is ready to run, so the guys in Hyltebruk are now working hard on the 396 SS body. The question is: Does a 3/8" fuelline supply enough fuel to a bone stock but blueprinted ZL-1 engine ? What are you guys using on the strip ?
Best regards
Anders

Re: ZL-1 fuelline

The 3/8 line will do the job, but you have to have a good fuel pump. I was using a brand new GM pump for an L72 motor and it seemed to do the job. I then tried a Holley mechanical and picked up 3 mph instantly!

Re: ZL-1 fuelline

Thank you Peter !
I told my friend Hans, that I didnĄt think a 3/8" fuelline would work. But you proved me wrong. I believe he prefer to use the original fuelline if possible.
