Re: 1967 CHEVELLE SS396
Tom,
That looks like a really nice straight original car that Grandma drove. All those years and never molested, that is not found often. Amazing how in the sixties many people bought cars that were similar in color to the kitchen appliances of that time period. Looks like it would be a super easy and affordable resto. Matt,
Thanks for the good words. It's sure isn't anything fancy, just a real solid survivor. Hopefully someone out there in Carland is looking for their Granny's SS. Any Takers? Tom |

That is a Very Nice original Chevelle Tom.
Have you posted this over at Team Chevelle? We are always asking for cars like this over there. Motown is right,it reminds me of an Old Green Hamiltion Beach Ice Cream Blender My Mom...I mean Grandma used to have. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif |
Re: 1967 CHEVELLE SS396
Harvest Gold,Cppertone,Avocado were the 60's colors for appliances.....I know this because I stayed at a Holiday Inn once.

Maybe you guys are onto something. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif I wouldn't throw it out of my garage, regardless of color. Heck, they can't all be red.

I think that Camarojoe still has the 60's/70's carpet in his house. I always tease him about it when he shows pics of his stuff! I bet it looks like a set from some old porn movie in there! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif
