67 Camaro Pin Stripes

Are there stencil kits available for the pin stripes on a '67 Camaro or do people just have them hand painted freehand? Thanks,

Mark, mine were painted freehand by a guy in Toledo, OH. We used the specs in the assembly manual.

Thanks Don, I would have figured yours were hand painted since they turned out so nice!

Kurt, that link doesn't work, but I looked aroud the Eastwood site a little and all I could find were some videos and books on how to pinstripe. Is that what you were suggesting?

Thanks again guys.

No, he's pointing you to the Buegler rollout pinstiper. The kind with one of more serrated roller wheels attached to a cylinder full of paint. That's how they were painted at the factory along with a metal guide. The Buegler guns are really simple to use and do an excellent job (with a little practice) of laying the paint on smoothly, and have the ability to paint absolutely parallel lines. Re: 67 Camaro Pin Stripes

I always lay them out with pre-cut stenciling tape, paint them, remove the tape and polish by hand they come out great! For and example (I know it's a 69 not a 67) look under the post "Thanks for the help with Fathom Green " in this section and look at nj steves attachment. the pin strips on his pace car were done that way.
Hope this helps, Rich.

Thanks Mark,

That set-up is pretty neat. I can't even draw stick people, so I'm not sure if I would even attempt it https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif Thanks to you too Rich, I'll check out those pics.
