1969 Big Block headers
 

Please help. I am attempting to install Hooker headers on a 69, 427 SS/RS Camaro with factory A/C. I tried super comp 2205, didn't fit well, currently have comp 2457 on. The problem is the header s touching the A/C suitcase. Question is, how can I tell if the A/C suitcase is a big block one or small block suitcase? Does it matter, does the headers fit better with one over the other? Can you tell me or provide pictures.
Also, I am wanting to use a old set of Eldelbrock finned cast aluminum valve cover with the headers and A/C, can it work?
