He bought the car at Barrett Jackson in 2002(?). I can not understand why a cloned movie car could even touch $125K. Anyone else feel the same way? OK, so its Don Johnson's X car, but a $125K?

Read the description close, not the same car that sold at 2002 BJ auction. But is another car used for the tv show. Roger

Re: Nash Bridges

The Tuttle Hemi (formerly Milt's) did sell for $1 million to a buyer in Illinois , the whole story was in Mopar Action, 12-2003. Don't all you guys read Mopar Action? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif

Rumor has it (from a very reliable source) that the car was just sold AGAIN (to Europe) for $1.5 million https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

But remember, the forex means a pretty hefty discount to European buyers - something around 25% off, so the car was really around $1.1 mil if the sales report is accurate.

The weak dollar means we are loosing a lot of muscle cars. They'll be back eventually....

I just don't understand what makes someone want to pay 1 million dollars for a car that doesn't even have the original engine in it. If that car is considered rare, then the 68 Z28 conv must be worth 2 million by now.

That million dollar Hemi Cuda was owned and raced in my area for about 20 years. Saw it almost standing on its rear bumper.
