Attn. Long Island guys
Any Motion guys or anyone that may have raced at New York National Please take a look at this page link ..
Believe it or not it does lead back to Motion one way or the other ...Pat Gallo the former owner was a good freind Of Joel Rosen and there is a search on for this car ..it is somewhere on the Island, Jersey the furthest. The car was sold to a Motion Mechanic who raced it from 78-89 then he took sick ....now the where abouts of the car are unknown ....It is wanted by Pat the original owner to put it back together as it was back in it's Hey Day .. The car did spend time at the old motion shop then moved to a garage that later burned down ( car survived) then moved to ??????....Please email me with any leads ,,there will be a finders fee Paid if the car is returned to its original home ....Thanks for taking a look .... http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeecr2m/id16.html if you would rather contact Pat or his sons I can forward there email address for information purposes only |

That car has been through alot of races over the years
It most likely has either No driveline or a seized engine Last seen in Nassau .... I hope someone can help put the peices together If you noticed the door P Gallo and sons His sons would really like to put it all back in one peice The man that bought the car from Mr Gallo passed away someone must have seen it |

Re: Attn. Long Island guys
Rick,
I will print a photo of the "Fun City Hauler" and ask around. There is one person in particular that may know the location of that car. I will speak to him. He is a master mechanic that has been involved in drag racing, here on Long Island, since the the 1960's and has worked on all the big name cars through the years. He still runs a highly respected race shop. I will let you know what his answer is. Nick... |

Talked to S-K but i think i might have talked to a younger guy that would not have known about the old timer race cars ...does anyone know who I would want to ask for there that might have raced during the earlier years

I drove to the race shop where I was going to ask about the '57 Nomad. It was closed. A friend of mine is going to let me know next week where it moved to. I'll keep you informed...
