Does it have to be 83? i have some later 80s Hemmings that I could dig out of the attic if that will do.

Now you got our attention !! Good Luck...I'll see if I have anything. Hey I just thought of something...Hemmings features a car every month now and shows todays value...as well as ads for the same type of car i.e. 10 years ago....5 years ago.....I bet if you call one of the gals in the office at Hemmings and tell them you are doing a high school project she would give you the advertised values back then...
