Is this a real Phase III corvette?
Hello.......I saw a article in "Corvette fever" about a 1969 corvette Phase III.
I found this picture on a swedish homepage.....The picture is taken on a carmeet in the 1980s here in sweden. The car is a 1969 corvette with a 427 engine, the car still exist here in sweden......can this be one of the 10 (9) Phase III GT corvette or is it just a replica? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif Picture: http://web.telia.com/~u51021896/vette1969.jpg Kristoffer Sweden |
Re: Is this a real Phase III corvette?
No that's not a Motion built car. Several companies offered that front end through mail order back then. Nothing else on that car looks like anything Motion did.

Re: Is this a real Phase III corvette?
Depends... do you have any other photos of it, like of the rear?
Ends up a number of cars were for export... like the first 2 Maco's. |

Re: Is this a real Phase III corvette?
As far as we can determine all GT's had a slant back window and all but one of them had the taillight/front headlight treatment.
Pantera We wish that Joel would say for sure but so far has not gave any examples. |
