oil leak

I recently discovered a small oil leak, more like an oil seep, on the short deck between the head and the block, right by the power steering pump. It's not from the pump or the valve cover gasket. So, the question is do I tighten the head bolts on a car that has never had the heads removed since it was installed in 1974, and run the risk of breaking a head bolt, or just leave it alone?

Check to see if it is leaking at the corner where the intake, head, and block come together......Sometimes a leak there weeps down the block deck......

Thanks.I checked that too but, it's not that intersection, so to speak, it's leaking right between the head and the block, not near the intake manifold.

I think Ken is talking about the area where the intake meets the head and front of the block at the front of the engine...it's very susceptible to a weeping type of small leak if it's not prepped right and seems to collect at the head to block mating area in the front on it's way down to the garage floor eventually...

I checked that, but maybe not good enough. I'll check it again this weekend.
