Been working on my photography skills

1 Attachment(s)
So I finally decided I'd had enough of being the world's worst photographer. I spent the entire day making a photo "booth" and becoming a bit more familiar with my camera's settings as well as experimenting with lighting techniques.

I think I'm finally making some progress! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Looks good Eric. Are you using any flash settings?

WOW!!!

That maximum image size thing was giving me fits!! I had to edit the pics 3 or 4 times before they'd fit. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Guess I should've put them on Photobucket lol.

Bruce;

Yes, I've been experimenting with perimeter lighting as well as using the camera flash to help bring out some of the dark spots. Had a rough time finding the sweet spot where it didn't come out too hot and wash out all the color vs. still being too dark.

I'm beginning to understand why professional photographers make so much $$$ https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Re: Been working on my photography skills

While on the subject, is anybody reading this, familar with Photoshop Elements 3.0. I have it up and running on my PC as a registered owner. Great program that does much more than I would ever hope to attempt. I've been trying to figure out if or how it can reduce the size of a group of pictures ALL at the SAME TIME. Ive been taking pics with my Canon S60 at 1600x1200 and I want to reduce all to 640x480 and I havent read enough, played enough yet.....I'm either going to throw in the towel or buy the Dummies book for 3.0
I know people have told me to use the Fookes program, but I was hoping that PS Elements 3.0 would surely have that capability.......

Thanks,

Chuck...don't fight it. The fookes program will do 100 pictures at a huge resolution in less than a MINUTE. BTW, it's FREE! You can't beat that https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif
