Bill and I were just at a GTO event here in Metro Detroit at the GM Tech Center. We hung out with some of the guys from Royal Pontiac who actually worked on and raced this car in 1969. We had a blast! We even got the gentleman who you see in the black and white photo in that article to pose for a similar shot (see attachment).
