Movie Recommendation - World's Fastest Indian
 

We watched 'The World's Fastest Indian' the other night. Recommended!
Real story of the guy from New Zealand (played by Anthony Hopkins) who set the land speed record on a 1920 Indian. Original owner of the bike no less! Some good footage on the flats.
The director actually tried making a documentary (when he first started filmmaking) about the guy 20 years ago, finally made this.

The part about making his own pistons in his garage was very cool.

Would have like to know the backstory on the fiberglass faring/streamlining.

excellent movie, watched it twice in two days.
seems to be OK for kids too
(as long as they know not to piss in Grandma's Vegatable garden)

Great trailer. The DVD just went on my Christmas list (the first thing on my list in about 30 years).
