1968 yenko tag in door jam
When did they assign a yenko tag number to a particular car ...when it was ordered and the order was confirmed?
...or when they actually did the conversion? I know there were a few cars that were never converted....were those cars still assigned a yenko # ? If you look at the list there are some numbers which are skipped over and are not listed. Any one have more info? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif |

Re: 1968 yenko tag in door jam
I believe the Yenko stock number was assigned when the car was sold. I base this opinion by comparing the ship dates with the stock numbers, the relationship appears to be linear.

The door tags were switch between 68 Camaros on the Jay Kline order. Who ever put the tags in the door. Did not check them against the vin list very well. I would guess they were one of the last things done. Before they went on the transport. Earl
