I wonder if this car has a connection with the 2 427 Corvettes provided to Jim Tice, President of AHRA, one delivered in March of 1968, for the '68 season, the other in late fall of 1968, for the '69 season.

Might need to investigate this further. Maybe they are both still around.

With help, we have been trying to locate the Vettes as well as several 427/425 Impalas delivered to the AHRA using the VIN numbers but no luck so far.

The '68 pictured is a small block car. I doubt if the Harrell Prepped car has any connection to Gibb/Tice.

Weren't the wagons to be used for AHRA and the Corvettes as personal vehicles for the Tices?

1969 AHRA fleet article. Note the date, typesetting must have been a bear back then.
