Fisher Body tags
I am looking for the tag which was stuck to the window of cars when new that said where it was assembled. I have one from the Van Nuys plant and one from Atlanta, but I need one from the Janesville, WI and Tarrytown, NY plants. Please see pictures. These are both from 1968's

Re: Fisher Body tags
I've never seen these. Any idea which window it was stuck on? Was it on the inside of the glass, or the outside? Was it placed on Chevelles?

Re: Fisher Body tags
Judging from the adhesive strips on the top sticker I'd say they were on the inside.
New to me too, but they're cool. |
Re: Fisher Body tags
Would these have been in the lower right corner of the windshield? Or maybe on a vent wing?
What are the dimensions? |
Re: Fisher Body tags
Both cards are the same size, 8x4 inches. Thye both had adhesive on either end. I'm not sure which window they would have come on, becasue the VN one was found under a carpet in a junkyard, and the ATL was in the owners manual bag. I'd assume all the different models including Chevelles would have had something like this, I'm just surprised I haven't seen more of them. People probably just threw them away. It would be a neat thing to display on the window at a show IMO, I just need to find ones from the factories my cars were made at..

Steve Steve [/ QUOTE ] I'm guessing the dealers probably threw them out when the cars were prepped, so the car owners never even saw them. Anyone prepping cars back in the day that could chime in? |
Re: Fisher Body tags
Maybe the build sheet guy could make them for you. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

Re: Fisher Body tags
I have seen these adhered to the Passenger side inside top corner of the windshield.
Ricks 1st Gen/Camaro carries the 1969 NORWOOD & 1967-68 VAN NUYS versions.Part #D817 & #D119 respectively. I'll bet Jim Osborn reproduces these. |
