Re: Wanted 61 Pontiac Tri Power Air Cleaner
Can't need one that bad if you cannot answer a question.I don't know Pontiacs but the 64/65 looks pretty close to my untrained eye.

Re: Wanted 61 Pontiac Tri Power Air Cleaner
Hi Bruce:
That one is not mine but I have a friend who has what I think is a 64/65.Just trying to help out of I can. I don't know what is different in a 61. It is not obvious to me. Take care Joe |
Re: Wanted 61 Pontiac Tri Power Air Cleaner
The snouts are at different angles !!! Take the lid off and face as it would sit on the engine.

Re: Wanted 61 Pontiac Tri Power Air Cleaner
Hi Jim:
If that is the only difference that is a easy modification to perform. We do it all the time on the 68 impala 427 air cleaners which have a slighly different angle between auto and standard. Any good body man should be able to assist since it seems the 64/65 are available. Thanks for getting back to me.Kind Regards Joe |
