Fall Jefferson.........
Went to Jefferson Today for the first time in 20 years....A lot has changed.......Spend 2 hours walking thru the Car Corrals.....seems that there were some Very Nice cars for Sale for Realistic Prices......Didn't even try to look at anything in the swap area.....Too Big.....But.....On the way out we happened to walk past "Crash's" Trans Emporium.....and.....he just happened to have a 069 intake sitting there....couldn't believe it....been looking for one for quite a while.....anyhow, it's now going to get some attention and then find it's way onto the Biscayne........Here are a bunch of Pic's from the Car corral...........

I'll bet the paved center road,brick structures & street lamps really seemed odd..Ha? What a PEEEEEERFECT Day. $https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif$ We got there at 6AM,put on our Cubs Division Champs hats,synchronized our watches & walked the entire swapmeet from the North end all the way to the South end in 6 hours, then turned around,flicked off all the Brewer fans,grabbed a brat w/cheese,and did it again. We never enter the car corral,cause the cars are usually there for all 3 days...some longer. But the parts are gone in hours..sometimes minutes. Best Damn swapmeet in the entire Midwest in my opinion. |

Ken, I've been going to Jefferson religiously for over 10 years. I must say this is one of the best turn outs I've seen. I actually was able to buy a bunch of original pieces for some current projects were doing. Several trips to the Van, but well worth the walk. I was amazed to see the amount of survivor/original paint cars in the "For Sale" corral. I agree with Rick, it's one of the best in the midwest. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/blush.gif
