Re: Worst VIN tag swap ever
OMG! That's hysterical, I didnt even see the scotch tape:

Re: Worst VIN tag swap ever
Id love to see if the radiator support and cowl vins match the home made vin tag.

Re: Worst VIN tag swap ever
That's funny. Notice the purple paint on the VIN tag. Hard to tell in the picture, but I would not be surprised if that VIN is in fact cut from the cowl or rad support area.
What a shame if it really is what it is advertised. The fender tag looks legit and if the hidden VINS were intact and someone cut one of them out to make a VIN, they would have been better off having a state assigned VIN https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif |
Re: Worst VIN tag swap ever
The hidden vins only have the numerical portion not the full vin, smilar to what's on the engine block, so I dont think that's what this car has. I think this is a prime candidate for the next episode of CSI:Mopar. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif

Re: Worst VIN tag swap ever
You are 100% right Steve. The purple paint in that fake VIN threw me off. The cowl or rad would look like this B0165442
