Light scratches in glass

Anyone have any tips on polishing scratches out of glass? Can it be done? Any help would be appreciated.

Eastwood has a glass polishing system. This worked out great for me, but mine was a very light scratch from a windshield wiper. If you can catch your fingernail in it, it will be too deep to work out. You have to be careful as you can heat up the glass too much and crack it. Slow and steady wins this race!

Cool! I have seen that kit, but some of their stuff works and some doesn't. The scratches are light enough that a fingernail can't be caught on it. I want to save some date coded glass that I have/will be getting.

Thanks!

I've also heard that the stuff from Zaino works really good...

I haven't tried it for myself...but it's gotten good recommendations...from other people!

Thank you very much! I'm glad I have a couple extra windows to practice on. Oh, has anyone dealt with weld splatter on glass? I didn't do it, but the person who had the car before me must have been grinding/welding inside the car with the windows up. Dumb a$$! That's the reason for the whole entire glass replacement. I think I have one wing window that doesn't have splatter in it. I guess I'm doing the best I can and that's replacing it!
