ZL-1 NOS SLEEVES SENT TO GIBB CHEV.

Still sorting thru my stufffff....came across this box...this is the first time i ever opened it...I was expecting GM boxes inside...are these the typical sleeves the dealers used?? apparently this was shipped to Gibb in May 70..via Greyhound!!!

came from the Tonawanda plant...probably a warranty issue???

oopppsss...got them 2 pics out of order...you get the idea...
so anyway, I bought these along with a ZL-1 block, so I never opened the box...but when I opened the box today...I did not expect BADGER sleeves??? Did GM use these??? seems odd...any ideas?? |

I wont take the Lord's name in vain on this holy day...but...WOOOWWW....that sure is annoying....
...and I thought this site was all about learning??? hehehe BTW..the inside flap of the large box has hand written 3946051 sleeve...and 3963642 rod... I assume these are the GM part nos. ?? also the Badger box the sleeves came in says "SAFEGUARD Engine Parts, Inc. a KSG Industries Company Made in USA"... |
