1969 firebird 4spd conv.

I am (always) looking for a real 1969 firebird 400, 4 speed conv. In a good color. Documented, born with driveline and done .
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, thanks Mike. I am in discussions with him now. It's a great car, but it needs a full resto. It may be more than I want to bite off right now. Thanks for the heads up.
I do hang out on the PY site as well.

John,

there was a guy in the Dallas area that had a few really nice 69 converts. 1 I know of was a creamy 350 HO 4 spd. I can dig it up if you'd like to follow up on it?

if you're watching the Stars/Sharks series, I think your buddy Butzow is playing defense for Dallas. # 4

Hey Grant. Do you mean the one, where the guy bought it at Mecum? I am trying to contact him. Seems a little wierd that he is ready to admit and take a loss. Also not a very thorough ad with regards to which block it is and it's orginality etc. (WZ) Reading between the lines make me think it is a date code correct mtor. Would love to know more. We'll see if he calls. Thanks for the heads up!

John

PS How is your new blue bird?

Yes, that's the one. I was thinking the same thing, sounds like a "correct dated" block the way it reads. I think he's trying to answer that for others that have inquired. The new Bird is great, cant wait to dive into it!

thanks for the heads up Carmen. I have been talking with the seller since before it was on ebay. Its a good car, just did not want to take on a full resto. I may regret it, as it sold today. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif
