72 Z-28 smog
 

I have a 72 Z bought from Sullivan Chevrolet in N.J.. Norwood car. My question is, did all areas of the country require a smog pump? when I bought the car it did not have a smog pump ...it has a D 12-1 dated manifolds....any help here? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

4 spd car...any clue if they all had smog or not?

To the best of my knowledge, all 72 Z's had a smog system regardless of transmission choice.
